16. and all the spoil thereof, shalt thou gather together into the midst of the broad way thereof, and shalt consume with fire the city and all the spoil thereof every whirl unto Yahweh thy God, -- and it shall be a heap unto times age-abiding, it shall be built no more.

It was produced by Joseph Bryant Rotherham, a bible scholar and minister of the Churches of Christ, who described his goal as placing the reader of the present time in as good a position as that occupied by the reader of the first century for understanding the Apostolic Writings.
