23. And thou shalt eat before Yahweh thy God -- in the place which he shall choose to make a habitation for his name there, -- the tithe of thy corn thy new wine and thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herd and of thy flock, -- that thou mayest learn to revere Yahweh thy God all the days.

It was produced by Joseph Bryant Rotherham, a bible scholar and minister of the Churches of Christ, who described his goal as placing the reader of the present time in as good a position as that occupied by the reader of the first century for understanding the Apostolic Writings.
