14. But the synagogue-ruler, answering, being greatly displeased that, on the Sabbath, Jesus had healed, began saying unto the multitude -- Six days, there are, in which men ought to get their work done; On them, therefore, come and be healed, and, not on the day of rest.

It was produced by Joseph Bryant Rotherham, a bible scholar and minister of the Churches of Christ, who described his goal as placing the reader of the present time in as good a position as that occupied by the reader of the first century for understanding the Apostolic Writings.
