20. Kiam ĉiuj Izraelidoj aŭdis, ke Jerobeam revenis, ili sendis kaj vokis lin al la kunveno kaj faris lin reĝo super ĉiuj Izraelidoj. La domon de David sekvis sole nur la tribo de Jehuda.
