9. Tiuj urboj estis destinitaj por ĉiuj Izraelidoj, kaj por la fremduloj, kiuj loĝas inter ili, por ke tien povu forkuri ĉiu, kiu mortigis homon per eraro, kaj por ke li ne mortu de la mano de sangovenĝanto, ĝis li stariĝos antaŭ la komunumo.
