Kiam David auxdis, ke Nabal mortis, li diris:Benata estu la Eternulo, kiu jugxe punis pro la malhonoro, kiun mi havis de Nabal, kaj Sian sklavon Li detenis de malbono, kaj la malbonecon de Nabal la Eternulo returnis sur lian kapon. Kaj David sendis kaj paroligis al Abigail, ke li volas preni sxin al si kiel edzinon.
