21. No habían pasado cuarenta días cuando Senaquerib fue asesinado por sus dos hijos que huyeron a los montes de Ararat. Su hijo Asaradón le sucedió en el trono. Asaradón puso a Ajicar, hijo de mi hermano Anael, al frente de la contabilidad y la administración general del reino.
