5. Daavid näet ajatteli: "Poikani Salomo on vielä nuori ja kokematon, mutta Herralle rakennettavan temppelin tulee olla niin mahtava ja kaunis, että sen maine leviää kaikkiin maihin. Siksi teen valmisteluja poikani puolesta." Näin Daavid teki suuria valmisteluja ennen kuolemaansa.
