9. Ja sinä, poikani Salomo, opi tuntemaan isäsi Jumala ja palvele häntä alttiisti ja koko sydämestäsi, sillä Herra tutkii kaikki sydämet ja ymmärtää kaikki ajatukset ja pyrkimykset. Jos etsit häntä, löydät hänet, mutta jos hylkäät hänet, hän hylkää sinut ikiajoiksi.
