33. Tämänkään jälkeen Jerobeam ei kääntynyt takaisin väärältä tieltään. Hän otti edelleenkin uhrikukkuloille pappeja tavallisen kansan parista. Jokainen, joka vain halusi, sai häneltä vihkimyksen ja pääsi näin uhrikukkuloille papiksi.
