29. Kuninkaaksi noustessaan hän otti hengiltä koko Jerobeamin suvun. Hän ei jättänyt Jerobeamin suvusta eloon ainoatakaan, vaan tuhosi heidät kaikki. Näin kävi toteen se, minkä Herra oli ilmoittanut palvelijansa, silolaisen Ahian, suulla.
