13. Näin tapahtui Baesan ja hänen poikansa Elan kaikkien syntien vuoksi. He olivat tehneet syntiä ja saattaneet Israelin synnintekoon. Tyhjääkin tyhjemmillä jumalillaan he olivat herättäneet Herran, Israelin Jumalan, vihan.
