21. Elisa palasi profeetan luota pellolle, otti härkäparin ja teurasti sen uhriksi. Hän kypsensi lihat ikeestä ja aurasta tekemällään tulella ja antoi ne väelleen, ja he söivät yhdessä. Sitten hän lähti seuraamaan Eliaa ja ryhtyi hänen palvelijakseen.
