19. Batseba meni kuningas Salomon luo puhumaan Adonian puolesta. Kuningas nousi istuimeltaan, tuli häntä vastaan ja kumarsi maahan hänen edessään. Sitten hän taas asettui valtaistuimelleen, ja myös kuninkaan äidille tuotiin istuin. Batseba istuutui Salomon oikealle puolelle
