39. Kun kuningas oli menossa siitä ohi, hän huusi kuninkaalle ja sanoi: "Minä, palvelijasi, olin mukana taistelussa. Siellä eräs sotilas erkani rivistöstä ja toi minun luokseni miehen. Hän sanoi: 'Vartioi tätä miestä! Jos hän pääsee karkaamaan, vastaat siitä hengelläsi tai maksat talentin hopeaa.'
