34. Sen jälkeen hän sanoi heille: "Menkää joka puolelle miesten luo ja käskekää heitä tuomaan sonninsa ja lampaansa tänne ja teurastamaan ja syömään ne täällä. Silloin he eivät syö veristä lihaa eivätkä riko Herran käskyä." Kaikki miehet toivat sinä iltana sonninsa Saulin luo, ja he teurastivat ne siellä.
