20. Kuninkaaksi tullessaan Joram oli kolmenkymmenenkahden vuoden ikäinen, ja hän hallitsi Jerusalemissa kahdeksan vuotta. Hänen kuolemaansa ei kukaan surrut. Hänet haudattiin Daavidin kaupunkiin, mutta ei kuninkaiden hautaan.
