8. Leeviläiset ja koko Juudan kansa tekivät niin kuin pappi Jojada oli käskenyt. Jokainen päällikkö kokosi miehensä, niin sapattina palveluvuoroon tulevat kuin vapaavuorolaisetkin, sillä pappi Jojada ei päästänyt näitä osastoja pois.
