2. Jotam teki sitä, mikä on oikein Herran silmissä, aivan niin kuin hänen isänsä Ussia oli tehnyt. Hän teki oikein siinäkin, ettei hän isänsä tavoin tunkeutunut temppeliin uhraamaan. Mutta kansa noudatti yhä kauhistavia menojaan.
