15. Tehtävään määrätyt miehet menivät vankien luo ja antoivat saaliista vaatteet ja jalkineet niille, joilla ei niitä ollut. He jakoivat vangeille ruokaa ja juomaa, voitelivat heidän haavansa ja nostivat aasien selkään ne, jotka eivät pystyneet kävelemään. Sitten he veivät heidät Jerikoon, Palmukaupunkiin, heidän heimolaistensa lähelle; itse he palasivat Samariaan.
