5. ja koko Israelissa Beersebasta Daniin asti kuulutettiin, että kaikkien oli tultava Jerusalemiin viettämään pääsiäistä Herran, Israelin Jumalan, kunniaksi. Koko kansa ei ollut pitkään aikaan viettänyt sitä yhteisesti, niin kuin laki määrää.
