8. Älkää kovettako sydäntänne niin kuin isänne tekivät, vaan kääntykää Herran puoleen ja lähtekää hänen temppeliinsä, jonka hän on pyhittänyt ikiajoiksi. Palvelkaa Herraa, Jumalaanne, jotta hänen vihansa hehku kääntyisi teistä pois.
