Herra, Israelin Jumala, täytäthän vielä senkin, minkä lupasit isälleni Daavidille, palvelijallesi, kun sanoit hänelle: 'Aina on Israelin valtaistuimella oleva sinun sukuusi kuuluva mies, jos poikasi pysyvät oikealla tiellä ja vaeltavat minun lakini mukaan, niin kuin sinäkin olet vaeltanut minun edessäni.'
