14. Isänsä Daavidin määräyksen mukaisesti hän järjesti pappien palvelusvuorot ja jakoi leeviläisille tehtävät määräten, minä päivänä minkin osaston piti olla ylistämässä Herraa ja avustamassa pappeja. Hän järjesti myös portinvartijoiden osastot eri porteille. Tästä kaikesta oli Daavid, Jumalan mies, antanut määräykset.
