2. Silloin Ahasjan sisar Joseba, joka oli kuningas Joramin tytär, otti Ahasjan pojan Joasin salaa pois surmattavaksi määrättyjen kuninkaan poikien joukosta. Hän vei pojan ja tämän imettäjän makuuhuoneeseensa, ja pojan henki säästyi, kun hänet näin piilotettiin Ataljalta.
