14. Juudan kuningas Hiskia lähetti silloin Assyrian kuninkaalle Lakisiin viestin: "Minä olen tehnyt väärin. Mihin tahansa minut velvoitat, sen teen, kunhan lakkaat ahdistamasta minua." Assyrian kuningas määräsi Juudan kuninkaan Hiskian maksettavaksi kolmesataa talenttia hopeaa ja kolmekymmentä talenttia kultaa.
