4. Jos me päätämme mennä kaupunkiin, me kuolemme sinne, koska siellä on nälänhätä, ja jos jäämme tänne, me kuolemme yhtä lailla. Miksemme lähtisi syyrialaisten leiriin! Jos he säästävät meidän henkemme, me pysymme elossa, ja jos he tappavat meidät, silloinkin me vain kuolemme."
