Hänet ajettiin pois ihmisten joukosta, hänelle annettiin eläimen ymmärrys, hän asui villiaasien parissa, hän sai syödä ruohoa kuin härät ja hänen ruumiinsa kastui yökasteesta, kunnes hän oppi tietämään, että korkein Jumala on hallitsija ihmisten valtakunnassa ja että hän antaa sen kuninkuuden kenelle tahtoo.
