24. Silloin kuningas käski noutaa ne miehet, jotka olivat syyttäneet Danielia, ja heittää heidät lapsineen ja vaimoineen leijonien luolaan. Eivätkä he olleet ehtineet luolan pohjalle, kun leijonat jo kävivät heidän kimppuunsa ja raatelivat heidät.
