26. Ja kuudenkymmenenkahden vuosiviikon kuluttua raivataan voideltu tieltä, eikä kansalla ole enää toista. Uusi hallitsija lähettää väkensä ja saastuttaa kaupungin ja pyhäkön, mutta tulva tekee hänestä lopun. -- Ja tuho on säädetty, ja se kestää sodan loppuun asti.
