2. Siitä on säädetty näin: Jokainen, joka on antanut toiselle lainan, luopukoon sen takaisin perimisestä. Lainan antaja ei saa enää vaatia velan suoritusta lähimmäiseltään, toiselta israelilaiselta, sillä Herran kunniaksi on julistettu velkojen anteeksianto.
