6. Jos turvapaikkaan olisi pitkä matka, verikostoon velvoitettu vainajan lähisukulainen, joka kiihdyksissään lähtee ajamaan surmaajaa takaa, voisi tavoittaa tämän ja lyödä hänet hengiltä, vaikka surmaaja ei ole ansainnut kuolemanrangaistusta, kun hänellä ei entuudestaan ollut kaunaa surmattua kohtaan.
