7. Mutta jos joku ei halua ottaa veljensä leskeä vaimokseen, lesken on mentävä kaupungin portille vanhimpien luo ja sanottava: 'Lankoni kieltäytyy säilyttämästä veljensä nimeä Israelissa eikä halua solmia avioliittoa minun kanssani.'
