14. Jair, Manassen jälkeläinen, otti haltuunsa Argobin alueen aina Gesurin ja Maakan alueisiin saakka ja antoi näille Basanin seuduille oman nimensä mukaan nimen Havvot-Jair, Jairin leirikylät. Tätä nimeä niistä käytetään vielä nykyisinkin.
