4. Minä paadutan faraon sydämen, niin että hän lähtee ajamaan israelilaisia takaa. Mutta minä osoitan voimani ja kunniani sillä, mitä faraolle ja koko hänen sotaväelleen tapahtuu. Silloin egyptiläiset ymmärtävät, että minä olen Herra." Ja israelilaiset tekivät niin kuin Herra oli käskenyt.
