17. sanomaan sinulle näin: 'Anna veljillesi anteeksi heidän rikoksensa ja pahat tekonsa. Armahda heitä, vaikka he ovatkin tehneet sinulle pahaa.' Anna siis meille nyt anteeksi meidän rikoksemme. Mehän palvelemme samaa Jumalaa kuin isäsi." Kuullessaan heidän sanansa Joosef puhkesi itkuun.
