8. Heidän käy kuin nälkäisen, joka uneksii ja uskoo syövänsä mutta herää yhtä nälkäisenä kuin nukahti, tai kuin janoisen, joka uneksii ja luulee juovansa mutta herää yhä nääntyneenä, kurkku kuivana. Niin käy vierasheimoisten koko lauman -- kaikkien, jotka ovat hyökänneet Siionin vuorta vastaan.
