5. Mutta babylonialaisten sotajoukko lähti ajamaan heitä takaa ja tavoitti Sidkian Jerikon tasangolla. Babylonialaiset ottivat Sidkian vangiksi ja veivät hänet kuningas Nebukadnessarin eteen Riblaan, Hamatin maahan. Siellä Nebukadnessar julisti vangeilleen tuomion.
