1. Nyt suahilainen Bildad alkoi jälleen puhua. Hän sanoi:
  
2. -- Hän, joka taivaan korkeuksissa pitää yllä rauhaa, hän herättää pelkoa, hänen on valta.
  
3. Kuka voisi laskea hänen joukkojensa määrän? Eivätkö kaikki luodut saa valonsa häneltä?
  
4. Kuinka siis ihminen voisi olla oikeassa, jos hän asettuu Jumalaa vastaan? Kuinka naisesta syntynyt voisi olla puhdas?
  
5. Ei edes kuun loiste ole tahraton, taivaan tähdet eivät ole puhtaat hänen silmissään.
  
6. Kuinka sitten ihminen, mato, Aadamin poika, tuo toukka?
