48. (H19:47-48)Danilaiset kuitenkin menettivät alueensa ja lähtivät sen vuoksi sotaan Lesemiä vastaan, valloittivat sen ja surmasivat sen asukkaat. Sitten he ottivat Lesemin omakseen, asettuivat sinne asumaan ja antoivat kaupungille nimen Dan kantaisänsä Danin mukaan.
