28. Kaupunki ei saanut mistään apua, sillä se sijaitsi Bet-Rehobin tasangolla kaukana Sidonista eikä se ollut tekemisissä muiden kansojen kanssa. Danilaiset rakensivat Laisin paikalle oman kaupunkinsa ja asettuivat sinne asumaan.
