7. Sitten nuo viisi miestä jatkoivat kulkuaan ja tulivat Laisiin. He näkivät, että siellä asuvat ihmiset elivät kaikessa rauhassa turvallista ja huoletonta elämää aivan kuin sidonilaiset. Maassa ei ollut ketään mahtimiestä heidän käskijänään. He asuivat kaukana sidonilaisista eivätkä olleet tekemisissä muidenkaan kansojen kanssa.
