28. Gaal, Ebedin poika, sanoi: "Mikä on Abimelek ja mitä syytä sikemiläisillä on palvella häntä? Eikö hän ole Jerubbaalin poika ja eikö Sebul ole täällä hänen voutinaan? Teidän pitäisi mieluummin palvella Hamorin, sikemiläisten kantaisän, jälkeläisiä. Miksi me palvelisimme Abimelekia?
