44. Samana päivänä asetettiin esimiehet valvomaan varastokammioita, joissa säilytettiin esikoisuhreja, kymmenyksiä ja muita antimia. Heidän tuli myös kerätä niihin kaupunkien peltojen sadosta osuudet, jotka lain mukaan kuuluivat papeille ja leeviläisille. Juudan kansa iloitsi siitä, että papit ja leeviläiset hoitivat taas tehtäviään
