Nyt, Jumalamme, sinä suuri Jumala, väkevä ja pelättävä, sinä, joka olet uskollinen ja pidät liittosi voimassa: katso, miten suuressa ahdingossa olemme joutuneet elämään, me, kuninkaamme ja ruhtinaamme, pappimme ja profeettamme, isämme ja koko kansamme, Assyrian kuninkaiden ajoista aina tähän päivään asti.
