49. Leeviläiset laskettiin ja merkittiin muistiin sen käskyn mukaisesti, jonka Herra oli Mooseksen täytettäväksi antanut. Jokaiselle määrättiin erikseen, mikä oli hänen tehtävänsä ja mitä varusteita hänen oli kannettava. Kaikki tehtiin sen käskyn mukaisesti, jonka Herra oli Moosekselle antanut.
