1. Laulunjohtajalle. Daavidin psalmi. Herraan minä turvaan. Kuinka voitte sanoa minulle: "Pakene vuorille kuin lintu!
  
2. Jumalaton jännittää joustaan, nuoli on jo jänteellä. Pimeän turvin hän tähtää syyttömään.
  
3. Kun kaikki perustukset revitään, mitä vanhurskas voi enää tehdä?"
  
4. Herra on pyhässä temppelissään, hänen valtaistuimensa on taivaassa. Hänen silmänsä näkevät kaiken, hänen katseensa tutkii ihmissydämet.
  
5. Herra tutkii vanhurskaat ja jumalattomat. Hän vihaa sitä, joka rakastaa vääryyttä.
  
6. Satakoon jumalattomien päälle tulta ja tulikiveä! Polttava tuuli olkoon malja, joka heidän on juotava!
  
7. Herra on vanhurskas Jumala, hän rakastaa oikeutta, oikeamieliset saavat nähdä hänen kasvonsa.
