1. Herra on kuningas! Mahti on hänen viittanaan, hän on vyöttäytynyt, kietonut vyötäisilleen voiman! Maanpiiri on lujalla perustalla, se ei horju.
  
2. Sinun valtaistuimesi on luja, se on ollut luja halki aikojen. Sinä olet ollut iäti.
  
3. Virrat pauhaavat, Herra, virrat pauhaavat kohisten, virrat pauhaavat ja jylisevät.
  
4. Mahtava on meren aallokko, mahtavampi vaahtopäinen myrsky, mahtavin on korkeuden Herra!
  
5. Sinun säädöksesi, Herra, ovat lujat ja varmat, pyhänä hohtaa sinun temppelisi ajasta aikaan.
