8. "Peto, jonka näit, on ollut, mutta nyt sitä ei ole. Se tulee vielä nousemaan syvyydestä, mutta lopulta se joutuu tuhon omaksi. Ne maan asukkaat, joiden nimi ei maailman luomisesta alkaen ole ollut kirjoitettuna elämän kirjaan, hämmästyvät pedon nähdessään, sillä vaikka se on ollut ja mennyt, se on vielä tuleva.
