11. Hän sai ympärileikkauksen merkin sen vakuudeksi, että hänet oli hyväksytty vanhurskaaksi jo, kun hän ympärileikkaamattomana uskoi. Näin hänestä tuli kaikkien niiden isä, jotka uskovat ja jotka katsotaan vanhurskaiksi, vaikka he ovat ympärileikkaamattomia.
